I hoped for a joyus experience to engage with healthy animals. What I left with was a feeling of pure sadness and helplessness for the majority of these animals that has stayed with me and I will not be returning. I witnessed a a wooly sheep laying in the back of a pen with blood around its nose and a visibly high respiration rate. Sad Horses, a clearly ill sheep, a depressed goat and don't even get me started on the birds. I was so depressed by the time I had walked around trying to offer these animals as much love as I possibly could, I mentally couldn't go near the Cockatoo. I have since read that he is caged alone in a small cage and has removed most of his feathers due to stress. This bird has been there for years and years. So depressing If you love animals you won't want to visit.
